Beta usage events. During the closed beta, Prompt to Page sends two limited usage events (app_started and app_exited) to Aptabase by default when your device is online, to measure aggregate use and improve the app. They never include prompts, generated pages, project content, model names, file paths or persistent install/account identifiers. Turn them off any time in Settings → Privacy. Full details: prompttopage.xyz/privacy.

Free during the beta — and honest about afterwards. When the beta ends I expect to charge for some professional features; a free version will remain, and beta users will be able to claim the paid tier free for an extended period. Your installed copy always keeps working — the app is fully local, with no account and no kill switch. Read the beta terms.

On macOS

    Open the .dmg and drag Prompt to Page to Applications.

    Open Prompt to Page from Applications. The app is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens without warnings — no Terminal commands needed.

    First launch runs a short, one-time model setup.
Upgrading from an older beta?

Releases before notarization (0.2.4 and earlier) needed a one-time Terminal command to clear the download quarantine. That step is gone — just replace the app in Applications with the new download, or accept the in-app update. Your prompts, pages, and the model still never leave your device.

On Windows

    Download and run Prompt-to-Page_0.4.4_x64_en-US.msi.

    If Windows SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info → Run anyway, then follow the installer.

    Launch Prompt to Page from the Start menu. First launch runs a short, one-time model setup.
Why this step?

The beta installer isn't yet signed with a reputation-bearing certificate, so SmartScreen warns the first few times. It eases as the app's reputation builds.

Updating: Prompt to Page checks for updates on launch — on by default, switchable in Settings → Updates — and installs new versions only with your consent.
