Accessibility statement for the Prompt to Page website

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

• in the dark theme, some small grey text — labels, the version badge and footer headings — does not have enough contrast against the background
• the dark Download buttons do not show where keyboard focus is, and some other buttons show only a faint outline
• when you move backwards through a page with the keyboard, the header can cover the link or question that has focus
• on a narrow screen, or when zoomed in, the Documentation, Privacy notice and Changelog pages need scrolling sideways
• Japanese words are not marked as Japanese, so a screen reader may pronounce them wrongly
• the demo videos have only YouTube's automatic captions, which we have not checked, and no transcript
• on a narrow screen, or when zoomed in, the menu at the top of the page is hidden — the same links are at the bottom of every page

We have not yet tested this website with screen readers or with disabled people.

Non-accessible content

The content below is not accessible, for these reasons:

• In the dark theme, small grey text such as labels, the version badge and footer headings has a contrast ratio of 3.7:1 to 4.1:1 against its background. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.3 (Contrast (Minimum)), which asks for at least 4.5:1.
• The dark Download buttons show no focus indicator, and the light buttons and the logo link show only a faint one. This fails success criterion 2.4.7 (Focus Visible).
• Moving backwards through a page with the keyboard can leave the focused link or question entirely under the fixed header. This fails success criterion 2.4.11 (Focus Not Obscured (Minimum)).
• At a width of 320 pixels, the Documentation, Privacy notice and Changelog pages scroll sideways. This fails success criterion 1.4.10 (Reflow).
• Japanese text in the footer, the changelog and one blog post is not marked as Japanese. This fails success criterion 3.1.2 (Language of Parts).
• The demo videos rely on YouTube's automatic captions, which have not been reviewed for accuracy, and have no transcript. This fails success criterion 1.2.2 (Captions (Prerecorded)). We have not yet assessed whether they need audio description (success criterion 1.2.5).

We plan to fix these problems and will update this statement as each one is fixed.

Content that is not within the scope of this statement

The video player on the Demos and home pages is provided by YouTube, and the Product Hunt badges by Product Hunt. Downloads are hosted on GitHub. We do not control the accessibility of those services.

We are fixing the problems listed above. We will also add a link to skip straight to the main content, and a menu button for narrow screens.

This website was last tested on 26 September 2026 against the WCAG 2.2 AA standard. We tested every page listed in the sitemap with an automated tool (axe-core) in the light and dark themes, at desktop and mobile widths. We also checked by hand: using the site with only a keyboard, whether focus stays visible, zoom and reflow at 320 pixels, moving content, videos, and page language. We have not yet tested the website with screen readers or with disabled people.
